01
WHEEL ALIGNMENT
Alignment refers to an adjustment of a vehicle’s suspension – the system that connects a vehicle to its wheels. It is not an adjustment of the tires or wheels themselves.
04
TYRE PUNCTURE
When repairing a puncture you must seal both the hole in the inner liner of the tyre and the injury channel. This prevents water entering the injury channel and damaging the structural integrity of the tyre.
02
WHEEL BALANCING
Distinct from tyre alignment, tyre or wheel balancing refers to compensation for any weight imbalances in the tyre/wheel combination and is often performed in conjunction with wheel alignment.
05
TYRE FITTING
It can’t be overstated that any time you change your tyres, they need to be correctly fitted. This will keep your vehicle safe and roadworthy. If you choose asymmetric or directional tyres, then they must be fitted according to the markings on the tyre sidewall or you won’t benefit from the innovative design and they can become dangerous.
03
TYRE ROTATION
Tire rotation means periodically changing the position of each of the tires on your vehicle. You should rotate your tires as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer, or every 5,000 miles.
06
TYRE PRESUURE
Proper tire inflation helps prevent accelerated wear that leads to premature tire replacement and is also important to safety. Tires that are driven under-inflated generate excessively high heat levels that can weaken the tire to the point of failure.
